Beta experience: I have "betaed" for a few friends (both of whom are published authors) on several occasions .
Story types/topics I will not beta: Any hardcore BDSM where one or the other is abusive to the other.  Don't think it fits with their past- where they came from and where they are going. 
Additional Comments: I was an English Honor student in school, and have always prided myself on writing correctly. 
I also served 4 years in the USMC as an MP, and several years as Denver Deputy Sheriff so if anyone needds insight into the military, para-military, law enforcement, etc.  I am your gal.

Beta experience: I am still fairly new to Beta, in spite having written and conributed some fanfiction stories and works on several sites, since 2012. School will do that. Finishing or continuing an education is every bit as important, as learning how to write well.

Beta experience: I've never done it for fanfiction, but writing has always been on of my strongs suits.  Thought I would give it a try and see how it goes.

Additional Comments: I have a tendency to be verrrrry nit-picky when it comes to reading other people's works (at least, whenever I had to read and offer suggestions for editing/revising other people's essays).  Just thought people should know that if they consider sending me stuff to read/edit/revise/etc.

Beta experience: I've yet to beta any Walking Dead stories so far, but I've beta read numerous other stories for Doctor Who and BBC Sherlock over on fanfiction.net. I like to think I'm good at writing in a character's Voice, if you know what I mean, and I have a knack for characterization and pointing out if a character is too OOC. I'm still a little new to Caryl fanfiction when it comes to writing it myself, but I think I've read more than enough of other people's works to know what to look for.
Story types/topics I will not beta: Meh, my usual restrictions don't really apply to the fics submitted on the site. I suppose if I have a real problem I'll tell you before we get too far into the beta reading process, but I doubt that will be necessary. I'm not very picky!
[edit] Apparently McReedus is a thing on here too. I'd rather not beta read for fics about the personal lives of real people, but other than that I don't think there should be any problems.

Beta experience: I have beta'd for several authors here and on Tumblr and I think they'd all say I'm fast, fair, and gentle. (I don't think I've ever pushed the timeframe I gave above - most of the time I can respond w/ comments/suggestions w/in a couple of days.)
I'm an excellent proofreader, including having an eye for words that don't really flow.  I didn't check the box for "plot suggestions", but the truth is I'm happy to chat about directions your story might take if you're stuck. 
Story types/topics I will not beta: I'll beta pretty much anything as far as structure and cosmetics. As far as content, I would have to go on a case-by-case basis depending on what I felt comfortable commenting on. 
Additional Comments: I'm really picky about character "voice."  Not only dialog, but how the way they look at the world is conveyed in text, so if you want to know if your writing is true to the characters -I probably have an opinion.
