Beta experience: I currently beta for two of my friends, both here and on AO3. I have also betaed numerous one shots and multi chapters.
Story types/topics I will not beta: I'm pretty laid back. If a subject arose I was uncomfortable reading we would discuss it.
Additional Comments: I add notes. Sometimes lots of them lol. I'm very honest, so if you're looking for someone to tell you your story's great and doesn't need any work then I'm probably not the beta for you. I really want to help people get the most out of their stories, so if you don't mind some constructive criticism send me a PM.

Additional Comments: I write myself, and I read a lot, so I would like to think that I would be a good beta. In addition to general things, I can make suggestions if that is alright with the author. Example: if a sentence does not sound right, especially when spoken aloud, I will offer an alternative. I am also open to being an ear for a brain storm to help move a story along.

Beta experience: I have been an unacknowledged beta reader in the past for the Stargate SG-1 fandom.
Story types/topics I will not beta: Rape, incest, explicit sex, underage pairings, iffy age pairings (like Bethyl). I will not beta RPF and I would prefer to not beta AU.
Additional Comments: I tend to be very detailed oriented. My feedback can be blunt, but it is only because I want to help as much as possible. When I beta read I work hard to keep my writing style out of it so that the author's voice is not lost.

Beta experience: I beta-ed for several years when I was writing for HarryPotterFanfiction.com. I am happy to provide samples of stories I have beta-ed. I typically request to work using the Microsoft Word Track Changes system, but I am open to working on beta requests in other ways. It should not take me more than a week to return a chapter to you, depending on the length, and I will let you know up front if I am facing a lot of work and would need more time to complete the job.
Story types/topics I will not beta: I'm keeping my mind open for now.
Additional Comments: My strengths are in the areas of grammar, spelling, word choice, and punctuation. I am a Southern American and can help you tweak the characters' speech if necessary :) I am also a mental health professional and can provide feedback and guidance regarding the accurate depiction of sensitive topics such as mental illness, abuse, suicide, and much more.
