She finds it. He's lost it. Will she read it?
A collection of missing moments between Carol and Daryl from the second half of season six. smaller than dust on this map / lies the greatest thing we have: / the dirt in which our roots may grow / and the right to call it home (north, sleeping at last)
Works that have to do with the idea of 'Soul Mates' as expressed through way of 'soul script' - which is basically a tattoo of your soul mates first words to you.
How do Carol and Daryl experience each other through their different senses?
rnAfter completing "She loved to hear him" it occurred to me that it might be interesting, after exploring sight through Daryl and hearing through Carol, to look at the other senses as well, so I will add one for touch from Carol's point of view and another one for Daryl dealing with smell.
I try to constantly challenge myself as a writer and this is the result. School is getting really complicated and my brain is being taken over with all sorts of things that have to be there right now. I also got hurt this week and am stuck at home now, a good and bad thing. Lol.
rnI tend to write longer stories and my challenge to myself is to write a series of shorter self -contained one shots. I hope you will enjoy them and I will update them as often as I can. But they are meant to be different and separate stories.
rnAs usual, I talked this over at great length with my bestie Magenta. I really have to say I could not do this without her constant encouragement and prompts. She has given me a few over the last few months that I wrote down and said, ok someday. Someday starts right now. I hope I can keep it simple lol.
rn
A series of stories about my two pavorite things Caryl and Pizza.
Daryl Dixon never expected to find her when all he was looking for was a warm place to sleep and a bottle of cold medicine.
Daryl and Carol, figuring out the road ahead.
rnA series of mostly-canon-compliant stand-alones that share a common continuity and the same in-jokes. Includes outside perspectives and non-romance focused stories. Open-ended and updated as the muse graciously permits. Generally PG-13/R for Dixon mouth, with canon-typical violence, other canon relationships and deaths, and sexual situations (including Caryl, as soon as TPTB permit).
Your name is Merle and your home is the Tombs. Your family is C block and your best friend is Dee. This is your story.
Daryl and Carol muse over what makes a house a home, and reflect on their life after the turn.
